First we went Tandem biking up the canyon with our friends! I have never tandem biked before and it was definitely an adventure! It was so hard to balance and pedal together not gonna lie. But it was definitely still very fun and pretty up the canyon.

ALONG FOR THE RIDE
It's been a busy couple of weeks! Devan's brothers and their families came into town last friday and have been here until today so we have been spending a lot of time with them having fun… Which is why I haven't posted in SO long. So what have we been up to? Let's see…

Once our family was in town I have to admit I was not the best at taking pictures… I was too busy having fun with them all! We carved pumpkins, had Cameran's mission farewell, visited the temple, played MANY games, went trick-or-treating, and just had some all around fun catching up:) Wish they all lived closer, but still happy they get to come to town and visit!

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN
It's the most wonderful time of the year. Autumn. I can't even begin to describe what a great mood I have been in these past couple of weeks. It has rained at least a couple of times a week, the colors of the leaves are changing beautifully, there is a briskness to the air that only comes this time of year. Right now I am sitting in my living room with the door to outside open, a light jacket on, a fall candle burning... basically just loving life. It is great.
This weekend we were supposed to go on a camping trip with our friends, but unfortunately it rained (bittersweet). So we decided to make it a fun weekend instead. On friday they came to Springville and we all went to dinner at a place called The Trolley. You guys. This place is amazing. And cute. There is a trolley train car that is part of the restaurant so it feels so unique. On top of that the food is SO good.
So we all had fun there and then went back to play games, but ended up talking and laughing for hours. It was so fun and relaxing. We have some great friends.
On saturday we all watched the Alabama vs. Texas A&M and hung out.
I love him:)
Today Devan and I went on a drive up the canyon. It was gorgeous. AND better yet it is going to keep getting prettier throughout the month.
This inspired me to decorate for the fall! So I made this:
It's so easy guys! Everyone can do it. And it makes it feel so good in here!
First I found this image on google and printed it out.

Then I cut around the leaf and traced it onto my different patterned papers I had chosen.

On some of the white leaves I sprinkled some brown glitter to give it a little pop.
Once I laid out all of my leaves in the order I wanted them I just used some orange and white twine to attach them together!
This whole process only took a couple of hours and I did it while watching a show so it seemed to fly by. Hope you enjoy and had a great weekend of your own:)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME SMILE...
Home stores. Even though I can't afford to buy, just looking is a treat!
My cute mom. Have I ever mentioned how much I would love to be just like her one day?
Amy Coon. She is one of my moms best friends and one of my other mothers. She is hilarious and great and one of a kind. Work that vacuum!
Family visits from out of state.
Getting to spend a week with my mom in Vegas for her business. She turned 44 when we were there, but doesn't look it! I hope I age as well as her...
Sleepy old men.
THIS GUY! Man am I one lucky girl.
Hokulia.. with THIS GUY!
Decorating our home with good finds. I can't wait until it is finished so I can post pictures:)
Seeing this picture and immediately emailing it to my sister Mckay on her mission because she may be a little in love with llamas.
Game night with friends.
Taylor's birthday "cake" i made. 23 grapes for her age!
Making Devan try new recipes I find. Baked zucchini chips and homemade mac and cheese. Oh and our cute cooking ware.
I think we all need to try a little harder to smile a little more each day. I hope something that makes you smile today!
