ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

Yay! Everything with the wedding is coming together. Today I had my first DRESS fitting!!!! I was sooo nervous because I had never tried it on before and with only about a month until the wedding there was no going back, but I am SO happy with it:) I cannot wait until my April 22nd when it will be finished and I get to pick it up (Happy 21st birthday to me!).

We got our finished engagement photos back. When I first looked at the basic edits a couple of weeks ago I felt so down. I felt like I looked so ugly in all of them, but then I started thinking and realized we are all our own worst critics. Now that I have had time to look at them more I am completely in love with them and so happy with the results. I think they really capture how much Devan and I love each other. We have a great photographer named Lyndsey Fagerlund who we found through a mutually friend (thanks Stephanie!) You can visit her website at http://lyndseyfagerlund.com. Can't wait to take Bridals and then have our actual Wedding Day photos.

Here are some of my favorites... sorry there are so many! It was impossible to narrow it down!

One of my favorites!

Bridal Veil Falls was still half frozen at this point, but a completely gorgeous backdrop!

I just love him!

What can I say... I love him.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

With only 46 days(!!!) until the wedding time seems to be flying by. I feel like my to-do list is forever long and I am not doing any of it before I blink and the next week is upon us. Before I know it I'll be moving home for a couple of weeks until the big day.

Wedding planning is getting completed though- slowly but surely. I designed my wedding invitations this week. I went up to my moms office this week to work with her graphic designer and show her my ideas. Hopefully they are done soon so that we can send those out! While I was there I got to watch my mom and Brie work on a new design line. It is going to be so beautiful! My mom owns a scrapbooking design company. She's amazingly talented and a smart business woman. I am always stealing her products from her;) I think that all of my craftiness comes from her for sure! If you want you can visit her blog >> my moms blog!

On Wednesday Devan and I went with his parents to check out the Blue Lemon restaurant for our family dinner the night before our wedding. It is such a cool place. My parents met us there for dinner and it was a great evening:)

Last night Devan and I went to P.F. Chang's for dinner (coutesy of a gift card from my mother for devan's birthday-  thanks mom!). Then we went to the BYU Philharmonic orchestra concert. I think Devan was in heaven. He used to be in the philharmonic, but he didn't try out again this year :(

Today Devan and I are going to Home Depot to buy some building supplies for a backdrop that will be at my wedding. It's so beautiful!! it's probably the feature that I am most excited about, so I hope that it turns out as beautiful as this picture:)

Have a great Friday!! This weekend is General Conference. I am so excited to listen and feast on some spiritual food:) To learn more about our beliefs click here!

HAPPY EASTER!

This past weekend I pretty much lived outside. It was so sunny and warm, which makes me even more excited for summer. On friday Devan and I decided to go to the park and have a picnic for lunch. For those of you who don't already know, Devan LOVES donuts. Seriously. His love for donuts is greater than anyone else I know. While we were at the store getting our food Devan told me he needed a "Big Texas", which apparently is just a really big donut. This one was the size of his head and he still had another one later on!

We also had some fun blowing bubbles. Sometimes I wonder how old we actually are.

Saturday was another fun-filled day. Dev and I went and played tennis. He whooped me of course. I'm not very good, but it's still fun to try! Then we got to have an exciting night on a double date with our friends Danielle and Justin. Devan and Justin are champs for going along with Danielle and I's easter egg hunt for them.

Finally to cap off our weekend we got to spend Easter Sunday with some family. I don't know about you, but our easter was egg-celent (hehe). One thing that was pointed out on Sunday at church from my friend Melissa was from the hymn "I Believe in Christ". One of the lines in it says "I believe in Christ so come what may". I love it. Anything that is thrown at me I know that I can get through with Christ by my side.
